“Disegni e Parole” is a collection of drawing related to a specific project in the town of Castelleone, Italy. They are fantasies around that town and also drawings to a certain project: the extension of Castelleone’s cemetery .” Disegni” means drawings . “Parole” means Words. I have been walking around the town of Castelleone and I collected several sketches of buildings and architectures . Moreover the idea was try to understand the spirit of the place before proceed to the actual project. The plan for the new cemetery and the garden around is definitely inspired by the Masters of Italian Renaissance. The buildings around anyway speak a mixture of different languages so they are using different words . Those words are the Parole in these series.

I was immediately drawn to the building on the right given it’s beautiful and spacious landscape. Colored with a blue and green highlighter, the serene landscape brings out the uniqueness and shapes or the windows and pillars. Areas that are shaded shows protrusion. My eyes are then directed to the top as it follows the flow of the rooftop to the curved, and seemingly tall building. This reminds me of a campus in the summer.

The pink and brown building extends my imagination and triggers my curiosity… How does it look like in its entirety ? The brown building is symmetrical, emanating seriousness and prestige with its long hallway.
