The street is a particular street from Dhaka city where I grew up. The neighborhood had a life of its own. But in the timeline of progress and change, the community living in the houses of that street was no longer a cohesive whole. The illustration depicts the changes in the elevation of the street and how that affected the neighborhood. 1. The first illustration portrays the past scenario which is almost 40 years ago. 2. The second one replicates the present scenario of that street.
