Множество шедевров французской архитектуры из разных эпох заполнили собой листы. Имея весьма ограниченное свободное время, на большом формате я выполнил лишь самые известные архитектурные объекты. Соседство старого и нового - вот, что меня зацепило в столице Франции. Пусть кто-то скажет, что Tour General Societe - это современное здание и оно выпадает из представленной мной серии, но это не так. Нельзя забывать, что Notre-Dam de Paris и Musee du Luvre также разделяют несколько столетий. Память о прошлом, уважение к нему, как архитектор, я был очень рад увидеть такое отношение. К слову о памяти: теперь и в моем сознании и в моем блокноте заключена память о великом и прекрасном Париже. В заключении, хочу сказать, что теперь, в свете недавних трагических событий в Париже, работа Notre-Dam de Paris для меня приобрела особое значение. В моей памяти еще свежи воспоминания о том, как я зарисовывал этот шедевр архитектуры и теперь, после пожара в соборе, с трудом осознаю, что никто и никогда больше не увидит собор таким, каким его видел я. И это не может не вызывать у меня горького сожаления.

Many masterpieces of French architecture from different eras filled the sheets. Having a very limited free time, on a large format, I performed only the most famous architectural objects. The neighborhood of the old and the new is what caught me in the capital of France. Let someone say that Tour General Societe is a modern building and it falls out of the series I have presented, but this is not so. We must not forget that Notre-Dam de Paris and Musee du Luvre also share several centuries. The memory of the past, respect for him, as an architect, I was very happy to see such an attitude. Speaking of memory: now in my mind and in my notebook lies the memory of the great and beautiful Paris. In conclusion, I want to say that now, in the light of the recent tragic events in Paris, the work of Notre-Dam de Paris has acquired a special significance for me. In my memory, memories of how I sketched this masterpiece of architecture are still fresh, and now, after the fire in the cathedral, I hardly realize that no one will ever again see the cathedral the way I saw it. And this can not but cause me bitter regret.
