Давно рисую старые дома Владивостока. Причем такие, которые не всегда и не всем попадаются на глаза. И вот, приступая к очередной работе, не сразу нашелся как в одном листе наиболее полно передать свое чувство места и объекта изображения. Дом расположен на значительном перепаде рельефа и имеет разомкнутый внутренний двор. В одном объемном изображении этого не передать, не говоря уже о возможности увидеть одним оптическим объективом. Так и нарисовал фасады с фронтальным перспективным сокращением. По-моему, лучше не придумаешь. Кроме того, подобный прием позволяет полнее отобразить окружающую застройку или убрать все лишнее. Можно вписать в композицию второй фасад этого же здания как фрагмент застройки. Появляется возможность наиболее полно выразить архитектуру, простую в объеме, но за счет изысканного рисунка мелкой пластики, превращающую изображение фасада в самостоятельный графический лист. Или, например, из трех фасадов одного сооружения получить вид архитектурного комплекса. Хороший архитектурный рисунок фасада – само по себе строго и красиво. Он позволяет по- другому почувствовать и оценить замысел автора проекта здания. Используя различные композиционные приемы и средства архитектурной графики, полагаю, возможно в одном формате максимально полно представить объект изображения.

I have been drawing old houses of Vladivostok since a long time. And my speciality is to choose those, that are not always and not by everyone can be caught by the eye. Having started my next series, I couldn’t immediately find, how to convey my sense of place and object of the image in a full complete way on one sheet. The house is located on a significant landscape delta, and has an open courtyard. In one three-dimensional image this cannot be conveyed, not to mention the possibility of seeing it with a single optical lens. So, I have found an interesting solution – I have drawn the facades of the house with a frontal perspective reduction. In my opinion, you can’t imagine better. In addition, this technique allows you to display the surroundings and the house in a more complete way, or remove unnecessary objects to create a proper image. You can add the second facade of the same building into the composition making it a fragment of the building. So, it becomes possible to express the most complete architectural image, simple in volume, but due to an exquisite fine architectural design it turns the image of the facade into an independent graphic sheet. Or, for example, to create the look of an architectural complex from the three facades of one building. A good architectural design of the facade is strict and beautiful by itself. It allows you to feel and appreciate the idea of the author for this project. But using various compositional techniques and tools of architectural graphics, I suppose, it is possible to represent the image of the object, as fully as possible, and make the image complete.
