I go trough the old center of Bucharest almost every time I go to University, but I feel like most of the times I am so caught in my own thoughts that I do not really see what is in front of my eyes. And there are times when I stop and realize something. I get to feel the atmosphere, to see how light falls in a certain place or the life of a building. One of this days determined me to do this drawings. And like me there are a lot of people passing by, rushing to school or work, lost in their own worlds. But how much of what is around us do we truly see? I hope we become more aware of what we have and understand more the value of this beautiful old buildings. Sometimes I feel that the tourists give them more attention than us living here. It is amazing to see how this buildings have been staying there till today recalling the old days. The coexistance of old and new gives the character of the city. The drawings represent Baratia Church, Stavropoleos Church and Manucs Inn.
