The streets of Kolkata has fascinated me as most of the buildings in old city is still the same as years before. Crowded streets with yellow taxis and peepal trees out growing on the building give the street its own character. The colour scheme at bow barracks street being red and green is a very unique feature in here. the greens are used for smallest elements such as brackets, projected roofs, railings, window louvers, ducts and pipes seen outside etc. Also few building exposes the inside material as the skin or plastering might have gone as these are old buildings.
