Проект благоустройства ул. Александра Невского призван вновь открыть истинное значение улицы для горожан и гостей Егорьевска. Эта улица в прошлом называлась улицей Широкой. Такой она должна стать и сегодня, олицетворяя широкие возможности Егорьевска. Пролегая от главного для города храма Александра Невского через улицу Советскую к набережной реки Гуслица, улица свяжет исторический, духовный. промышленный, торговый и рекреационный аспект жизни сегодняшнего Егорьевска. В рамках проекта предполагается расширение улицы Александра Невского и новое зонирование: часть улицы станет пешеходной, будет организован доступ к реке Гуслица с благоустройством набережной, спортивных и рекреационных зон, промышленные территории, прилегающие к улице Невского, конвертируются в общественные пространства, Будет открыт доступ историческому промышленному участку за рекой Гуслица, что должно активировать этот депрессивный на данный момент участок города. Будет проведено благоустройство прилегающих дворов с изменением схем автомобильного движения. Проект станет отправной точкой для оживления и активизации потенциально сильных инфраструктурных объектов и превратится в символ и реальное воплощение экономических перспектив города и его жителей, олицетворяя само название города, ведь Егорьевск – это город Святого Георгия (Егория) Победоносца, город победителей, территория личных побед каждого.

Brief description of the project concept The Alexander Nevsky street improvement project is designed to rediscover the true meaning of the street for the citizens and guests of Yegoryevsk.

This street was formerly called Broad street. This is what it should become today, embodying the broad opportunities of Yegoryevsk. Running from the citys main temple of Alexander Nevsky across Sovetskaya street to the embankment of the Guslitsa river, the street will connect the historical and spiritual. industrial, commercial and recreational aspects of life in todays Yegoryevsk.

The project involves the expansion of Alexander Nevsky street and new zoning: part of the street will become pedestrian, access to the Guslitsa river will be organized with the improvement of the embankment, sports and recreational areas, industrial areas adjacent to Nevsky street will be converted into public spaces, Access will be opened to a historic industrial site across the Guslitsa river, which should activate this currently depressed section of the city.

Landscaping of adjacent courtyards will be carried out with changes in the traffic patterns. The project will be the starting point for the revival and revitalization of potentially strong infrastructure and will become a symbol and embodiment of real economic prospects of the city and its residents, embodying the name of the city, because Yegoryevsk is a town of St. George (Egory) of St. George, a city of winners, the territory of personal victories each.
